Last weekend I had the opportunity to work with Amber of Out West Events, she’s an up and coming wedding planner in Colorado Springs and was a joy to work with. When Amber told me about her vision of a Boho styled shoot with a ’till death twist, I was sold! Our venue for the day was the White Willow Barn, a charming and rustic little barn located in Elbert, Colorado. Kayleen and Kelly were extremely accommodating and made sure everyone had what they needed, bison and baby ducks included.
The florals were provided by Heidi and Heather of Snowberry Floral Co, I don’t think their flowers could’ve been better. The colors and the arrangements they created set the tone for the entire shoot. I love how seamlessly everything tied in to Amber’s tablescape!
Hair was done by Cheyenna’s Beauty Co, I wish she would’ve done my hair after the wind that day. She worked some type of magic to keep our model Nicole’s hair looking good during those gusts!
Makeup was provided by Skin by Brea, I was blown away by her work as well as all the awesome equipment she was able to fit in her suitcase AKA the Bridal Travel Studio.
The stunning black dress was provided by Something New Boutique.
Open Heart Paperie even sent us a sample of their customizable wedding invitation suites and coordinating reception pieces which are going to be a game changer. They allow couples to get a refined and luxurious look without the price tag.
