Last weekend I had a great photo session with Sarah and Chris. It happened to be Valentine’s Day and my fiancée/assistant (fiancée first, assistant second), Katelyn thought that a heart shaped pizza would be the perfect prop for some cozy couple’s portraits.
To kick things up a bit, they whipped up some cocktails, with some Colorado Springs bourbon. If you’re in Colorado and haven’t checked out Axe and the Oak Whiskey Distillery, you’re missing out!
Sarah and Chris’ house had the perfect amount of natural light for some dreamy portraits. They were naturals!
Homes are an underrated location for portraits, you don’t have to drive anywhere, if you’re shy, there’s no need to worry about other people. If you want a beer or glass of wine no one will judge you. Best of all- you can just be you, which I think makes the best images.
Once nap time and happy hour concluded, the little ones got in on some of the fun!
Oakley also had a great time.
